Messina Reusable Cups

Messina Reusable Cups

We’re delighted to announce that from Monday 16th December reusable cups are now welcome in all our stores*!

Messina Reusable Cups

If you’ve been eating with us for a while, you might have felt a bit frustrated in the past when we couldn’t accept your reusable cup for a scoop. “But we use it for our coffee!” we hear you say... well, great news! You can now bring your own cup to the store. While we’re still unable to accept reusable tubs due to food safety concerns related to how we pack them, we’re working on it—stay tuned for updates!

Of course, as with all good things, there are a few T&Cs*. Please read them carefully and be kind to our staff if they need to refuse your cup for any reason.

Cup Guidelines:

  • Hygiene: Make sure your reusable cup is clean and odour-free before each use to ensure hygiene and quality.
  • Size: Reusable cups are accepted for scoop servings only. Your cup should be appropriately sized for one, two or three scoop sized servings to avoid spills or overflows. If needed, our staff may ask you to use a store cup instead.
  • Handling: Messina is not responsible for any damage or breakage to your cup during serving.
  • Materials - please make sure the cup you bring is made of stainless steel, or another food safe material. We are unable to accept anything with chips or cracks in it.
  • Washing - we are unable to wash your cup for you if it's not clean enough, you'll be required to use a disposable cup and bring it back cleaner next time :)
  • Refusals: If your cup doesn’t meet our hygiene or suitability standards, our staff may politely decline its use.

Need a new reusable cup that’s perfect for gelato? We’ve got just the thing! Our new YETI Rambler® 10 oz Stackable Lowball has just been restocked online for the 3rd time!
