It’s time to get neighbourly for our first Marrickville Messina Eats / opening party at the new Mothership, 1 Rich Street, Marrickville.  Local hero’s Baba’s Place and Whole Beast Butchery are pulling out all the stops, creating a one-off street-food menu that ticks all the boxes.

Featuring Baba's famous tarama, falafel sandwiches and chargrilled meats...  Whole Beast will be putting on a show — smoking whole pigs spit-roasted over charcoal, loaded into a crunchy roll with vinegar sauce, cabbage salad and house-pickles.

Each dish will only be available at the event over two days, so don't be silly and add it to your calendar!

As is customary — we’ll be pumping out a limited-edition tangy dessert to wash down your Marrickville feast.  Grab the Key Lime Pie-Lova Sundae with lime curd gelato, pie crust, baked meringue, whipped cream and lime zest.

There'll be live DJs mixing it up including Beat Kitchen Records on Saturday, plenty of seating and our full gelato + chocolate store for you to peruse.  Stiff drinks more your thing? DNA Distillery are popping up serving Rakija cocktails and Rakija + Tonic cans to help you get in the mood for a good time.
