What is "Messina Made"
Messina Made is our ongoing series that celebrates the people behind the scoops. The makers, thinkers, fixers and creatives who’ve helped shape Messina into what it is today. Each episode spotlights one of the integral humans in our world (from R&D and production to chocolate and the family roots that started it all), sharing the stories, craft and quiet obsession that goes into everything we do.
Ep. 1 - Rose
Rose is our Head of R&D and conceptualises pretty much all of the limited edition products, specials and flavours that you eat.
Ep. 2 - Dalila
Dalila is our Head of Operations and a partner in the business. She's the one that make's all the stores run smoothly and brings Marketing's crazy ideas to life.
Ep. 3 - Ash
Ash is our Head of Finance and a partner in the business. Saving money on ingredients is not something we do well (because good ingredients cost a lot) but he does it better than anyone else could.
Ep. 4 - Mr. Messina
Mr. Messina is the anonymous person behind the chaos which is the Messina Instagram. IYKYK :)
Ep. 5 - Millie
Millie is our Head Chocolatier. Anything chocolate that you eat at Messina goes through her... and that's exactly why it tastes (and looks) so good.
Ep. 6 - Nonna
Nonna is the GOAT and the reason why Messina exists today. There's not much else to say other than "thank you for all the lunches".
Ep. 7 - Emi
Emi is our Head of QA, Supply Chain & Export at Messina. But more importantly, Emi is the man behind our completely authentic Argentinian Dulce De Leche. Yup, he's kind of a big deal!
