Share the Love This Valentine’s Day

Valentine’s Day. The one day of the year that makes everyone feel something. Love. Excitement. Mild panic. A strong urge to book dinner somewhere that definitely already sold out.

So we’re keeping it simple and delicious by organising your dessert plans. 

This Valentine’s Day, we’re giving you a very good excuse to bring someone you love (or like…or even just tolerate) into Messina. And their scoop is on us.

Yep. Free gelato. Because romance is great and all, but free gelato is arguably greater.

Who’s Is this for

Well, short answer: anyone who deserves a scoop.

Your partner, best mate, funk buddy, situationship. If they’ve earned some of your love, they’ve earned our gelato.

How It Works?

On February 14th, bring your chosen human into a Messina store and open your Messina app to find out how to claim a free scoop for them. Buy your scoop and we'll get theirs. 

That’s it. No hoops. Just two people, two spoons, and two seperate cups (we felt like this was important given the array of people you could be bringing).

Feeling Brave? 

While you’re in store, keep an eye out for our in-store Cone-fession Box.

Grab a card. Confess your love, your crush, your best story or something you’ve been sitting on for way too long. Write your heart out, pop it in the box and move on with your day slightly lighter than before. Add your details on the back if you want to be in the running to win $1000 of Messina. Or don’t. Sometimes you just need to get it off your chest (we're not telepathic though so you can't win this way)

We’ll be sharing our favourite Cone-fessions on Instagram, and the winner will be contacted via email.

Valentine’s Day shouldn’t be about pressure or worrying about the perfect sentence to end your situationship's card with. We think it should be about sharing something good. Laughing. Sitting on the curb outside a Messina store. Arguing about flavours. Stealing bites. Falling in love all over again…with gelato.
