Glenelg Ice Cream Festival

Glenelg Ice Cream Festival

If someone’s throwing an Ice Cream Festival on Jetty Road and we don’t show up, that would actually raise more questions than answers.

So yes, we’ll be there. With our regular cabinet full of gelato plus a limited edition product only available at the Glenelg store, this Friday, 6th February from 4–10pm.

The Glenelg Ice Cream Festival is here, which basically means your Friday night plans just sorted themselves out. Dessert for dinner, sea air, Jetty Road and (hopefully) a really good sunset.

We’re bringing The Malter Ego, and whilst delicious, it is not subtle.

Choc cheesecake gelato loaded with chunks of baked cheesecake, layered on cheesecake mousse, Milo fudge and choc brownie, then finished with Milo crumble.

Because one dessert stop is never enough, we’ve also been hanging with our neighbours at Shadow Baking, giving them a little help in the gelato department.

They’ll be set up out the front of their store serving a Hazelnut Sundae Tart that tastes as good as it looks. Think buttery croissant tart filled with gianduia and vanilla custard gelato, finished with hazelnut diplomate, Messinatella and topped with caramelised hazelnuts.

We won’t tell you what order to eat them in, but we will say this is a very strong case for a two-dessert situation.

TL;DR 👀
Glenelg Ice Cream Festival, this Friday 6th Feb 4-10pm. Limited Edition products available for one day only.
