
ERIN DOES DESSERTS
Brand spanking new dessert menu launching Thursday 25th September, exclusively at Erin.
The main event is our freshly churned fior di latte (aka FDL, which means 'milk gelato'). Erin is Messina's farm to table restaurant, so it only seemed right to make the rich Jersey milk from Erindale Farm the star of the show. Our farm in Numurkah, VIC, is where we raise our own herd of Jersey cows, producing milk that’s naturally higher in fat and protein and perfect for gelato. Scooped straight out of the churn at your table, FDL is subtly sweet, and the texture is almost like a soft-serve gelato. We serve this with rotating weekly toppings - currently: warm dulce de leche, olive oil, and salt.
Fancy something even more indulgent? Try the Banana Hammock Sundae with hokey pokey gelato, caramelised banana bread & pudding, covered with a warm chocolate mousse poured tableside. For something a bit lighter, the Licence to Dill is a refreshing mix of matcha & fennel sorbet, ouzo granita, dill-pickled honeydew, and labneh. Plus “liquid desserts” like an affogato or tiramisu martini to round it out.
