Good Pair Days x The Creative Department By Messina
Welcome to our first official wine partnership at our Darlinghurst restaurant. Accompanying the 8-course degustation will be drops paired by Banjo Harris Plane — three-time Australian sommelier of the year, and co-founder of Good Pair Days.
Since launching our alcoholic-pairings recently, there has been a lot more demand for matched wines. So we thought we'd ask the masters themselves, and collaborate on a one off menu for our diners in Sydney.
The wine subscription company, launched a few years ago with the aim of helping everyone — from newbies to aficionados — discover and experience the joy of exceptional wine, tailored to their tastes. Their website takes punters through a wine-matching quiz, before empowering your palate. Once you've chosen your preferred subscription, sit tight and wait for your beautiful box of drops to arrive at your home, along with paired recipe ideas with each bottle. It's wine without the bull****.
From 7–9th November, you'll be able to book tickets to either a 6pm or 8:30pm, 2-hour sitting with an 8-course degustation by Head Chef Remi Talbot and the Messina Team and 8-matched glasses of wine, paired by Banjo from Good Pair Days.
Each fermented wine has been carefully selected to complement the dish, with bottles from Australia, France and Italy — finishing with two complex dessert wines.
