Messina Eats Mr. Miyagi 2.0

Messina Eats Mr. Miyagi 2.0

Mr. Miyagi is returning to Rosebery HQ for their second Messina Eats pop up and we can't wait.

The Melbourne institution from Windsor is known for deliciously fun Japanese share food and innovative fusion food, like nori tacos, miyagi fried chicken (MFC) and schnitty baos.

From 29-30th November, they'll be setup in our carpark serving their very tasty, one-off event menu:

Miyagi Fried Chicken

MFC chicken pieces, ramen noodles, creamy spicy Japanese mayo, edamame, golden fried shallots, topped with tempura crumble and served in an edible waffle basket.

Juicy Pounded Pork

Slow cooked Murray Valley Pork, ramen noodles, Japanese mayo, edamame, black bean, chilli, toasted sesame, topped with ramen spiced popcorn and served in an edible waffle basket.

Sesame Mushroom Smash

Truffled soy and sake braised mushrooms, ramen noodles, sesame dressing, edamame, chilli, topped with tomato tempura crumble served in an edible waffle basket.

Truffled Wasabi Fries

Golden fries, ramen seasoning, truffle mayo, wasabi sesame furikake.

For dessert, our chefs have made a MESSINA MELONPAN, which is an unusual Japanese sweet bread coated in a crisp cookie dough, stuffed with vanilla gelato AND strawberry sorbet.

WHEN: 29-30th November, 12pm-late

WHERE: Messina HQ, 58 Mentmore Avenue, Rosebery
