Geelong Store Coming Soon-ish

Geelong, we heard you like good food. Same.

Yes, it’s true.
Yes, you've been reading those articles correctly.
But no, we’re not ready to give you an opening date yet (don’t look at us like that).

But what we can do is confirm that Gelato Messina is coming to Geelong. And honestly, we’re pretty excited about it.

Why Geelong?

Geelong popped up on our radar post-COVID, when a whole lot of people looked at Melbourne, looked at the sea, and said “yeah nah, let’s do both.” It’s a beautiful seaside city, close enough to Melbourne for a day trip, far enough to feel like its own thing. A proper place, with proper energy.

And then there’s Little Malop Street.

Little Malop Street is a food, hospitality and entertainment precinct that feels genuinely lived-in and genuinely cool. Pedestrian-friendly, full of personality, and stacked with operators who actually care about what they’re serving. Not copy-paste venues. The real deal.

The whole precinct has been shaped by the Votsaris family, who are deeply woven into the local community and very serious about good food. Every venue is carefully chosen by Paul and Bill Votsaris, and let’s just say…these guys know their stuff. Being invited into that mix felt like a big yes.

So yes there will be Messina gelato in Geelong but no we don't have an offical opening date yet. But you can sign up to our mailing list here to be sure you find out first when we're opening.
