‍Are you ready to out-do the number you did on yourself last Christmas? We are. Our Christmas trifle is back!

This year we asked Santa for his expert opinion on how we could add more ‘coma' to THE CHRISTMAS COMA and we’re pretty happy with his excessive suggestions. As a gift to all you chocolate lovers, he insisted we ramp up the choccy gelato vs 'other elements’ ratio. Done. Using our house-made chocolate of course. But nothing got the big man more pumped than our Argentinian dulce de leche mousse, slathered throughout the trifle ensemble.

We’ve also combined the love of red velvet cake, vanilla Chantilly cream, chocolate covered biscuit crumbs, Italian meringue, sour cherry & amarena cherry jelly and lime gel for that fruity finish. And who says you can't have your cake and eat it too? We're adding a litre of Messina Brandy Custard and a bag of choc coated nuts to simultaneously finish yourself off. Deck your trifle with these goodies or stow them away for boxing day brekkie, to re-live yesterday’s gluttony. Rest assured that every element of the coma has been made in house and with Messina Jersey Milk direct from the Messina Dairy! You'll also be able to keep your totes sustainable glass custard bottle and in time, we'll offer Messina Milk refills in store. But there's one last thing. You'll be the first to receive a Messina branded cooler bag (with in-built ice pack). Not only can you get your trifle home safe and sound, you can take it on a road trip or spot your fellow comatose buddies out with their cool new bag.

SERVES: 18-20 people (depending on how much you eat!)

 

Basically it’s a ‘free for all’ service. Take it out of the freezer 30-45 minutes before serving (depending on your home freezer), give it a poke to test how soft it is, rustle up your biggest spoon and make sure you’re the first in line to grab all the good bits – although it’s all pretty damn good.
