Perth - we're finally open in Mount Lawley
Hello Perth!
After spending over 20 years on the East Coast of Australia, perfecting the art of making what we think is arguably some of the best gelato on the planet, we are delighted to finally bring our gelato to the West Coast - come and find us at 497 Beaufort St, Highgate.
Growing from a single store in Darlinghurst, Sydney to now 30 across Australia, we have had our hearts and stomachs set on Perth for a few years. After a few Covid location setbacks, we finally secured a site to call our Perth home in Highgate.
The new store features our signature 40 flavour gelato cabinet, with 35 classic flavours and 5 rotating weekly specials. You'll find our full selection of weird and wonderful selection of gelato cakes, jars of house-made dulce de leche and a selection of Messina merch.
All Messina flavours are made from scratch using the best ingredients we can get our hands on. We have our own dairy farm in country Victoria which produces a beautiful high fat jersey milk for all our gelato, and all our based and baked additions are produced by our talented team of gelato makers and pastry chefs. For Perth, we’ll be baking some delicious additions in store, plus churning daily for you to enjoy the freshest gelato possible.
To celebrate the opening we have also created Perth’s very own special (available until stocks last):
ROTTO BUNS - Cream bun gelato with whipped cream and raspberry puree based on Rottnest Island’s famed cream buns. The flavour will be available at all Messina stores, and in the Perth store for our opening week.
