This winter, we’ve taken your cult-fave cookie pie and given it a seriously chocolatey upgrade, courtesy of our good mates at Tony’s Chocolonely, the impact company that makes chocolate, and not the other way around. By making crazy damn tasty chocolate, they exist to end exploitation in cocoa.

BAKE-AT-HOME COOKIE PIE

Messina x Tony’s Chocolonely Cookie Pie
On sale from 7th July 2025 in all Messina stores

We’ve taken our golden, gooey cookie pie base and packed it full of chunky pieces of Tony’s milk and dark chocolate. Made by our pastry chefs entirely in-house, it’s rich, melty and designed to be baked straight from your freezer.

Whether you’re hosting dessert night or just making Tuesday feel a little warmer, this is your winter essential. 

HOW TO PIE:

  1. Thaw at room temp for approximately 1.5 hours (we understand if you can't wait exactly that long but try your best)

  2. Bake at 160°C fan forced for 18–20 mins

  3. Rest for 10 minutes (this'll be hard...just wait until you smell it)

  4. Optional but I strongly recommend: Top with a generous scoop of gelato and enjoy

$25 each – available in-stores, to pre-order and via delivery all winter.
Bundle it with a 500ml, 1L or 1.5L tub of your fave gelato for the full experience.

Can’t commit to a whole pie? Already thinking about dessert before dinner? We get it.
That’s why we made mini cookie pies, baked fresh in-store and served warm with your choice of gelato scoop. Small in size, big on gooey goodness.

Available in-stores from 5pm Monday- Thursday, starting 14th July 2025 (excludes Circular Quay and The Star)

Salted milk chocolate gelato with lashings of caramel and Tony’s double choc brownie

This Messina x Tony's Chocolonely flavour is here to steal your heart (and spoons). It’s rich, salty-sweet, fudgy and full of chunky brownie made with, you guessed it, Tony’s chocolate.

Available in all Messina stores from 11th July 2025 for one week only (or until stock lasts)
