Bastille Festival — Sydney

Bastille Festival — Sydney

The French are invading Circular Quay for 4 days in July for the Bastille Festival and we've been invited to pitch our caravan at The Island – Kanak Beach Village.

Set on the eastern side of the promenade, between the ferry terminal and the Opera House, the New Caledonian inspired beach village will be setup with a giant treasure hunt (enter at the Aircalin counter), a tropical cocktail bar, fish BBQ, actual sand and beach chairs to enjoy your french picnic on.

We've made two custom french desserts, inspired of course by the great Polynesian island...

MOTHER PUFFER – Puff pastry vol-au-vent topped with vanilla gelato and warm caramelised pineapple

CRÈME OF THE CROP – Coconut crème brûlée topped with coconut and passionfruit gelato

Drop on into the Kanak Beach Village from 12pm - late (Friday), 11am - late (Saturday-Sunday) 11th - 14th July to try our desserts, or just sip on french cocktails and bury your toes in the sand. The event is free to enter.
