Get Baked without leaving the house. Frankly, the ideal arrangement.

For the first time in history, you can legally get your hands on Bertha in Australia and have her delivered straight to your door via Aus Post. Your order will arrive within two business days of dispatch, so clear some fridge space and consider keeping this information from your housemates.

This is not a modest slice of chocolate cake. Bertha is made with twelve layers of dark chocolate cake, sandwiched with twelve layers of Get Baked’s signature ganache, made using a blend of single-origin Colombian milk and dark chocolate.

Until now, getting your hands on a slice usually involved travelling to Leeds, knowing someone travelling to Leeds, or staring longingly at Get Baked’s Instagram. We decided that was unreasonable, so we brought the Get Baked team to Messinaville to make Bertha on Australian soil for the very first time.

IMPORTANT DELIVERY BIT: This product is delivered directly to your doorstep via Aus Post Express. It is not available for collection from a Messina store. Please enter the address where you would like Bertha delivered at checkout as we can only deliver to postcodes which can receive the cake within 2 business days, to ensures your cake tastes as good as when we made it.

Use a sharp knife to slice Bertha if you’re sharing. Use a fork or spoon if you’re sensible and keeping her to yourself.

In Store

If you already have the Messina app when purchasing in store, make sure to pay with this method and you're all set! We'll automatically add the points to your balance.

Online Orders

If you already have the Messina app, make sure when you check out you are logged in using the same email as your app email. We'll automatically add your points to your balance when you collect the product from store.

Uber Eats

Unfortunately app points are not available on Uber Eats orders.

Store in the packaging provided or in a sealed container. Make sure you eat every last mouthful before the expiry date shown on the box.

Please note: our baked goods do not contain the sorts of preservatives that you’ll find on supermarket shelves, so they won’t keep as long. Trust me, it’s a good thing.

We do not recommend freezing Bertha®.
