"With Friends": Incu x Messina x Hake House

We're proudly launching "with friends" alongside Incu, and Northern Beaches art gallery Hake House to celebrate International Women's Day on March 8th. 

Joining forces to create a multi-faceted project that encompasses food, fashion and art — all while celebrating women.

United in their passion for community, the project features each partner contributing their creative talents to raise money for Gunawirra —  a community-led organisation that works closely with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, families, children and communities to reach their full potential. 

This collaboration shines a spotlight on three local female artists, whose distinctive works have been artfully translated into the realm of clothing. Hake House’s founder Ash Holmes, along with artists Rachel Mackay and Alicia Bilyara Bennett, have created custom artworks, interpreted by the Incu Collection team, to create a capsule collection of three garments.

The capsule includes a viscose long sleeved shirt featuring a print by Ash Holmes; wool-blend knitted vest by Rachel Mackay and alpaca blend cardigan by Alicia Bilyara Bennett. 

Each garment was considerately developed by the Incu Collection team to ensure the prints maintained the integrity and feeling of the original artworks of the artists. The collection, on sale from Thursday 7 March, will be available in Incu stores and Incu.com, with all proceeds from the first month of sales going to Gunawirra. 

We've created a special, limited-edition flavour curated by the Hake House artists, titled “With Friends” —  bush honey and macadamia gelato, with macadamia fudge and lemon myrtle cake. The flavour will go on sale across all of our stores from Friday 8 March for one week, or until stocks last, with profits going to Gunawirra. 

To celebrate the launch, Incu will be showcasing the original artworks at its Galeries Women’s store from Thursday 7 March. Incu customers will also be able to try a scoop of the “With Friends” gelato with a Gelato Messina stall at Incu Galeries Footwear and Accessories in Sydney and Incu QV in Melbourne on Saturday 9 March between 1-4pm.
