Melbourne Creative Department x Starward Whisky

Melbourne Creative Department x Starward Whisky

A collaboration like no other and our first alcoholic pairing at the Melbourne Creative Department, Starward Whisky have worked closely with our head chef to create a bespoke cocktail menu that matches each of the 8 courses.

Based in Port Melbourne, Starward Whisky was created in 2007 by David Vitale. Setting out to create an approachable whisky that was distinctly Australian, made with local barley and wine barrels, the ambitious project has paid off — winning multiple domestic and global awards.  Their distinct wine maturation process created from the saturated barrels is just one of the aspects that makes this whisky unique and full of flavour.

You can expect dishes like: apple & green shiso sorbet, pickled baby turnips, oyster emulsion paired with Starward Two-Fold, apple kombucha, grilled melon vermouth & black lime

WHEN: Thursday 21st - Saturday 23rd February

WHERE: The Creative Department Melbourne - 171 Chapel Street, Windsor

SITTINGS: 1pm, 6pm or 8:30pm in groups of 2 - 8
