New gelato cakes are coming...
If you're a Messina regular, you'll know that we make a range of 9 handmade gelato cakes. These cakes have been the same since the very beginning, so we thought it was about time we took them back into the development kitchen for a Messina makeover.
In December, we'll be launching a brand new range of 9 gelato cakes.
And we've come a long way since we first launched them - the original cakes were made using Ikea salad bowls as moulds!! so we can safely say we're now a lot more advanced in our gelato cake making techniques.
The only one to stay will be Dr Evil's Magic Mushroom (our signature), but the rest will be all new. Even our Black Forest gelato cake, which was first seen on Masterchef in 2014 will be revamped to a new and improved version.
Got a favourite and freaking out it's going to be gone forever? The current range will be available in stores until the end of November or until stocks last. Final online orders for the current range end of 16th November. If you're really desperate for a cake between 16th Nov and 1st December, you can call your nearest store and see if they can put one on hold for you.
