Biennale Sydney
Do you ever wander through an art exhibition and suddenly realise... you’re starving?
Same.
Which is why we’re bringing gelato to Biennale of Sydney from the 14th March - 14th June. We’ve parked our gelato van at White Bay Power Station to make sure your art interpretation and enlightenment comes with a scoop (or two).
What’s Biennale
The Sydney Biennale is one of the world’s leading contemporary art festivals. Big deal stuff. Artists from around the globe. Thought-provoking installations. The kind of things you stare at for a minute and then go, “Okay wait… that’s actually brilliant.”
The 2026 theme is Rememory.
Which is basically about revisiting stories, reclaiming histories and remembering things that may have been lost along the way.
Honing in on this nostalgia we thought it would be rude to not bring back our spin on a childhood favourite. The Finger Bun. A brioche gelato with whipped cream, raspberry puree & coconut icing.
Fridays: 6pm – 9:30pm - ticketed entry with a smaller crowd
Saturdays & Sundays: 10am – 5pm Free to attend but a slightly bigger crowd (around 3000–4000 people a day)
TL;DR 👀
🖼️ Art festival + food markets + Messina gelato.
📍White Bay Power Station.
🗓️ March 13th – June 14th
Honestly, we’re not saying gelato improves art appreciation
…but we’re also not not saying that
