Taco King Toby Wilson is back at it. From Thursday – Sunday you'll be able to pull up to our carpark, order a Mexican feast and drop in for a scoop on your way home... what more could you want in life really?
Chef Toby Wilson has made quite the name for himself in Sydney's taco scene as a well-researched and well-eaten ambassador for Mexican street food. You may have already eaten his deliciosos tacos at, Ghostboy Cantina, recently closed Taco King (RIP) at The George Hotel or Grifter Brewing Co, over the weekend.
But their loss is our gain. We're happy to announce that he's back! And we're partnering with him at Messina HQ, giving his food truck an ongoing home in our Rosebery carpark. We might not be able to have any Messina Eats for the foreseeable future, but doesn't mean we can't facilitate bringing hard-to-find eats to the people of Sydney.
"RICOS" TACOS will trade from this Thursday 10th September, every Thurs (5pm till sold out) and Fri – Sun (12pm till sold out) at 58 Mentmore Avenue, Rosebery. No bookings, just turn up, grab your tacos, hover over a makeshift table and grab a scoop on the way out... if your clothes aren't stained with salsa roja, you're not doing it right.
We'll leave you with his easy-to-make fish finger taco recipe so you can get to know him, and his taco truck menu below. Follow along at @ricostacotruck for updates and direct your hard-hitting questions there.
