We had a little bake at home break, but we're back at it with a banger. On Monday, you'll be able to order your very own Hazelnut Galettes to pick up from Friday. Said Galettes have been lovingly handmade by our chefs, snap frozen and boxed, ready for you to cook fresh at home and impress your guests.

You'll be baking* and biting into: multiple layers of flaky puff pastry, stuffed with hazelnut frangipane and Messinatella.
* You'll have to be a bit more patient with a cooking time of 50mins and 10mins resting for this bad boy.

HOW TO STOCK UP ON HAZELNUT GALETTES:

  1. Pre-order your Hazelnut Galette
  2. Choose your pick up day and time from select stores over 3 days, from Friday 2nd – Sunday 4th October. If your preferred store isn't coming up right away, search in the location finder.
  3. Add your gelato and take advantage of our take home tub bundle packs
  4. Come 2nd-4th October, waltz into your preferred Messina and pick up your galette

Refunds on Pre-Ordered Products
Unfortunately no refunds or cancellations can be made for the galettes, due to it being a limited edition product.

Please make sure you collect your order during the 'pick up dates'. If you don't pick it up, the store manager will try and contact you a maximum of 3x times, and then we may regift it (or eat it) if we still don't hear from you. Due to limited amount of storage space in stores, we are unable to keep products for too long.

App Points
If you already have the Messina app, you don't have to do anything. We'll email your points a few days after making your purchase.

Don't have our app? Need a bit of convincing? Every time you make a purchase in store with our mobile app or buy select products through our website, you'll receive 10 Messina App points per dollar you spend. You're the boss of your points. They add up to free gelato and other cool things which you can redeem as and when you please. Download the Messina app before 9am Thursday 1st October to claim your points.

COOKING INSTRUCTIONS

Store in the freezer until ready to bake. Serves 4-6

1. Pre-heat oven to 180C
2. Place baking paper on bottom of tray, remove the board at the bottom and place the galette on the tray, bake for 50 mins
3. Remove from oven and let it rest for 10-15 mins (watch out for the very hot Messinatella)
4. Serve with your choice of Messina gelato (we recommend vanilla, hazelnut, white choc hazelnut, salted caramel, coffee, pistachio praline, dulce de leche).
